Open When Letters Terms of Service

Open When Letters is operated by Lou Han, an independent developer. The service is intended for adults. Use only information you have a right to share and avoid sensitive details such as addresses or financial information. The letters are generated with AI from the details you provide, so review the preview and the finished set for accuracy and suitability before giving it to someone.

Do not use the service to harass, threaten, impersonate or exploit anyone, or to create sexual content involving a minor. Do not submit private information without permission or attempt to disrupt the service. To report an issue, email hello@myopenwhenletters.com with the details and your order reference if relevant. We aim to review reports within two business days and may restrict access or remove material that breaches these terms.

You must not use the site to create or share content that infringes anyone else's intellectual property, such as their songs, lyrics, music, images, characters or trademarks, or to pass content off as made or endorsed by a real artist, creator or brand. If you do, we remove the content, may block your access, and handle any payment under our refund policy.

You must not use the service for sexual content, violent or gory content (graphic injury, cruelty or extreme violence), or hate speech (hateful, discriminatory, demeaning or inciting content aimed at people because of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits).

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - zero tolerance: you must never upload, request, create or share any sexual or sexualised depiction of a minor, or any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child. We remove it immediately, permanently block the account, preserve the necessary records and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant authorities.

Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII): you must never upload, create or share nude, sexual or intimate images, audio or video of a real person without their consent, including private intimate material, "undressing" or nudifying a person, or placing someone into an intimate scene. We remove it as soon as we learn of it, block the account, and support the person depicted, including takedown requests and cooperation with law enforcement.

The first letter is available as a watermarked preview. The complete set is a digital product purchased once; there is no recurring subscription or physical shipment. The price is shown before checkout. A payment provider processes the transaction and receipt. After confirmation, you can retrieve the set and download a PDF. Paid sets are retained for up to 180 days; save your PDF if you want to keep it longer.

If you are charged twice or cannot retrieve what you purchased, contact hello@myopenwhenletters.com with your receipt. We will investigate and provide a fix or refund where appropriate, as explained in the refund policy. The service is provided as available. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that apply to you under law.
